Dear F.C. Joyce Family,

 

On behalf of the staff at F.C. Joyce, I am happy to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year. We can’t wait to have all of our students back in the classroom so we can start another exciting year focused on classroom instruction and improving academic outcomes for all of our students. F.C. Joyce is a school on the move, and we’re moving in the right direction.

 

 

Breakfast:        8:10 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.

School starts:  8:30 a.m.

School ends:   3:12 p.m.

 

Twin Rivers USD has Early Release Wednesday, meaning all students will start school at the same time every day, and will be released two hours early every Wednesday for Professional Learning Time (PLT). Early Release Wednesday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1:12 p.m., every Wednesday throughout the school year.

 

Our office will reopen on August 5th, 2024. Summer office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Regular office hours will resume on August 20 and are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30

p.m. Back to School Night will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. You will learn more about your children’s classrooms, our curriculum, and important ways to help make this school year a success for your family.

 

We have many fun family events planned for the year, and we always welcome volunteers to work with us in creating the best possible learning environment. Volunteer applications are available in the office. Please consider serving on our School Site Council or ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee) and/or becoming a volunteer and helping your child’s teacher.
